Pētījums veltīts svarīgam institūtam, kuru aptver krimināltiesības. Šis institūts ir apstāklis, kurš izslēdz kriminālatbildību – galējā nepieciešamība. Darba autors analizē un izvērtē attiecīgā apstākļa būtību, kādās situācijās nodarījumu var vērtēt atbilstoši galējās nepieciešamības apstāklim, kādās situācijās šī apstākļa attiecināšana uz nodarījumu nav pieļaujama. Darbā tiek vērtētas situācijas, kādi ir tiesiskuma nosacījumi, lai attiecīgais precedents tiktu attiecināms galējās nepieciešamības situācijai. Optimization of the Mix-Design System for the Sub-ballast Railroad

Bituminous sub-ballast is an alternative solution to the unbound granular sub-ballast used in the railway track due to several benefits that it can provide. Indeed, it contributes to maintain the moisture content in the subgrade unchanged during all year. This decreases the subgrade deterioration process. Moreover, the presence of bituminous sub-ballast can also reduce vertical stiffness variations on the track; it can have a positive effect in the maintenance needs at transition sections (bridge-embankment) and in the attenuation of the vibrations induced by the rail traffic. Clinical presentation of patients with suspected obstructive sleep apnea and self-reported physician-diagnosed asthma in the ESADA cohort.

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and asthma are often associated and several studies suggest a bidirectional relationship between asthma and OSA. This study analyzed the characteristics of patients with suspected OSA from the European Sleep Apnea Database according to presence/absence of physician-diagnosed asthma. Cross-sectional data in 16,236 patients (29.1% female) referred for suspected OSA were analyzed according to occurrence of physician-diagnosed asthma for anthropometrics, OSA severity and sleepiness. Apstāklis, kas izslēdz kriminālatbildību- galējā nepieciešmība

Bakalaura darbā tiek rakstīts par galējo nepieciešamību, kas ir viens no apstākļiem, kas izslēdz kriminālatbildību. Pastāvot galējās nepieciešamības stāvoklim, persona netiek saukta pie kriminālatbildības. Pēc autores domām, šis ir svarīgs tiesību institūts, jo regulē tādu situāciju, kad it kā ārēji šķietama prettiesiska darbība nav kvalificējama kā noziedzīgs nodarījums, un līdz ar to neiestājas Krimināltiesību Sevišķās daļas panta dispozīcijā noteiktās sekas. Vēl jo vairāk, ir svarīgi veikt plašāku šī institūta izpēti, jo tas praksē nav bieži sastopams.
